Our beloved Avant-Gardists Tupolev start their tiny “Memories of Björn Bolssen”-tour tomorrow. I will join them for two gigs (Linz and Vienna) as some kind of tour DJ, cutting heavy Netaudio tunes on my digital decks. Tupolev share stage with their labelmates Port-Royal whose record “Afraid to Dance” will be available in the special Valeot vinyl version at the shows. Due to technical problems, Tupolev vinyl is delayed but you will be able to purchase the CD of their genre defining new album “Memories of Björn Bolssen”.

Just recently, I wrote a review about Svefn which is Lee Chapman doing impressive celestial drones. We’ve been in contact and a few weeks later, he told me that one of his tunes in featured on a compilation by brand new UK Netlabel Phantom Channel. I check the sampler, and wow!, our man Alan McNeill aka Engine7 is not only featured on the tracklist but also did the whole mix and mastering for the album… Small Britain!
