Just recently, I wrote a review about Svefn which is Lee Chapman doing impressive celestial drones. We’ve been in contact and a few weeks later, he told me that one of his tunes in featured on a compilation by brand new UK Netlabel Phantom Channel. I check the sampler, and wow!, our man Alan McNeill aka Engine7 is not only featured on the tracklist but also did the whole mix and mastering for the album… Small Britain!

Harmonious, full of strange noises and rather warm than digitally cold, Alan did an awesome job mixing the nine different artists like it’s one big jam. For customers who also bought Herzog and Muhr. Midnight Ambient, highly recommended.
